Back income tax

Back income tax
House OKs income tax break

The House agreed nem con Wednesday to a $300 million-a-year income tax break for center- and upper-income earners after narrowly driving attempts by Democrats to bullock a lot of the benefits to the working poor.
Supporters of the amendment said the bill as presently configured would apply to about half of all taxpayers and that the largest benefits would fall for those with the highest earnings. Many of those at the bed or middle of the income scale would see brief or no benefit from a Stelly rollback, while Smith's amendment would have ascertained that everyone who pays income taxes would see a few savings.
